HBA's regional organizational structure is pictured below. Each HBA region is led by a Regional Council, made up of a regional chair, deputy chair, treasurer, four Center of Excellence (COE) presidents and chapter presidents. The regional leadership is tasked with strategic decision-making for the region overall, as well as supporting the local chapters within their geography.
The Centers of Excellence within each region are responsible for overseeing their particular functional area within the region and supporting local functional volunteers. Each COE has multiple regional directors, responsible for a specific area of that function.
HBA chapters create the member experience within their local geography through membership and volunteer engagement, marketing and communications and local programming.
