HBA highly values recognizing its volunteers' contributions and encourages all chapters and regions to do so regularly.
The HBA has two main volunteer recognition and awards portfolios: our Global Leadership Awards (run annually by HBA Central) and our Volunteer Recognition and Annual Awards, outlined here, which include six approved HBA awards that can be given by components to volunteers who fit the award/recognition criteria. Some awards can be given annually, others are meant to be more regular recognition throughout the year.
