The Vice President is responsible for effective communications/implementation of the strategic plan to the regions and functional areas, leads the talent management and succession planning process for the operating board including the nomination and appointment process for all regional executive positions.
Strategic responsibilities
- Talent management and succession planning for the operating board
- Effective deployment of strategy to regions to achieve KPIs; connections/best practice sharing with leaders across the geography
- Primary contact for functional area directors
- Support the president in translating global strategy into an operational strategy in the regions; accountability for roll out and execution within the geography
- Development and oversight of Operating Board members
Tactical responsibilities
- Geography nomination committee chair, brought into discussions around all operating board and executive regional leadership positions
- Planning and leadership of Regional Leadership Meetings
- Participate in development of annual strategic plan, including operating strategy,
- Roll out/communications of strategic plan and operating strategy to regions
- Provide input into budget planning process
- Coaching and feedback of team members
- Support thought leadership as needed
